SINOPSIS

Erik, un joven de trece años, y su madre se trasladan a una nueva casa en Minnesota. El muchacho se siente como un pez fuera del agua y tiene dificultad para encontrar amigos, hasta que conoce a Dexter, un chico más pequeño que vive en la casa de al lado. Erik y Dexter se llevan muy bien, pero un día la madre de Erik le prohíbe acercarse a su amigo porque se entera de que hace unos años contrajo el SIDA a causa de una negligencia en una transfusión de sangre.
