Sinopsis

Miles, un divorciado deprimido, aspirante a escritor y apasionado del vino, propone a su viejo amigo Jack, un actor fracasado que está a punto de casarse, hacer un viaje para visitar viñedos y probar vinos antes de su boda. Forman una extraña pareja: Jack es un seductor; Miles, un pesimista. Jack pretende saborear sus últimos días de libertad, Miles sólo aspira a paladear un vino perfecto. Jack se conforma con un Merlot barato, Miles se muere por el perfecto Pinot. De hecho, lo único que tienen en común son sus ambiciones fallidas y la pérdida de la juventud.
