AC/DC atravesó las puertas del legendario Castle Donington en agosto de 1991 para encabezar el festival Monster of Rock por tercera vez en su carrera. La banda tomó el escenario al asalto y ofreció al numeroso público reunido un concierto de dos horas plagado de éxitos, además de un espectacular despliegue visual con sitio para cañones, las campanas de “Hells Bells” y una Rosie hinchable de tamaño gigante. Filmado en Panavision con 26 cámaras de 35 mm (una de ellas en un helicóptero), AC/DC Live at Donington es un documento en directo imprescindible.
