En 2006 David Gilmour realizó una gira por Europa, EE.UU. y Canadá para promocionar su tercer disco solista "On An Island", y la misma se extendió desde el 10 de marzo hasta el 31 de mayo de 2006, y también entre julio y agosto de ese mismo año. En esta gira se grabó un DVD doble titulado Remember That Night Live At The Royal Albert Hall, que fue publicado el 17 de septiembre de 2007, que además contiene un documental sobre la gira y apariciones de David Bowie y Robert Wyatt.
